Barri Gibson
Barri Gibson is the owner of Red. by Rubyredroots. With over a decade of professional experience, Barri has worked with leading brands and stylists throughout the Tri State Area. After earning a Bachelors Degree in Fashion Merchandising, she attended the Aveda Institute in Soho to earn her cosmetology license. She went on to hone her skills as an assistant at top salons in New York City. In 2014, Barri retuned to her home town, South Orange, NJ where she birthed Red. by Rubyredroots and catapulted her career as one of New Jersey’s leading stylists.
Barri specializes in coloring and shaping textured hair. As a leader in the industry, she prides herself in maintaining a safe, comfortable space where patrons enjoy good vibes and leave with great looking hair.
Erica D. Beauty
Erica D. Beauty has been a stylist at Red. by Rubyredroots for three years and offers a total of five years of professional hair care and styling experience. Her passion for color and style lives in harmony with her love for music and the arts. She joined Red. by Rubyredroots as an assistant while obtaining her license. After a year of working under Barri, Erica became a full time stylist and now specializes in natural styling and women’s clipper cuts.
